In line with Better Regulation Executive principles, we aim to be transparent, accountable, consistent, proportionate and well targeted in our actions. For example, as part of our commitment to the principle of proportionality, we have reduced the information we collect from Scottish Water by 30%.

As representatives of a public body it is essential that the conduct of the Commission members is above reproach. All members must comply with our Code of Conduct.
